I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that most SIP fans will love a comic by the name of "Platinum Grit" which is a gem of an Australian publication which unfortunately has not got much in the way of international distribution. Occaisionally you might find hard copies, but you can get a good dose at www.platinumgrit.com smile There are the 4 most recent issues available in shockwave format. Have to wait a while if you don't have high speed connection, but it's worth it, I promise!

Ghost World (loved the movie as well)
    Slow News Day
Alias (a very different style Marvel book)
    Astro City
Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind

I noticed no one said Madman, so I thought I'd throw that out there. Also Kevin's run on Green Arrow is always a must buy.

I started reading comics when I was a kid. I read my mom and her brothers and sister's old Archie, Dennis the Menace, Twilight Zone, and Partridge Family books. I still have them all and I still love Archie!!
When I got older I got really into Image.
    reading books like..
Gen 13 (which I have every issue of)
    I also read..
    Witchblade
    DangerGirl
    Fathom
    Aphrodite 9
    Catwoman
    Aria
I'm also getting into some other stuff such as...
    Lenore
    Leave it to Chance
    Electric Girl
    Sam Keith's Zero Girl
    A Distant Soil
I've also read all the Kabuki books and the original Sandman.
I am in great search for something as good as Strangers in Paradise and I haven't found anything yet!! I am buying all kinds of indie books hoping something will be as good , but there is nothing!! SIP IS THE BEST!!

I don't read anything besides Strangers in Paradise really...
Except for Knights of the Dinner Table because it's so realistic in its portrayals of gamers.
    SIP is all I need.

    Top O' the lists...

    SiP
    Gunsmith Cats
    Avengers
    Legion of Superheroes
    Thunderbolts
Birds of Prey (Go Terry! We're waiting!)
    American Century
    Electric Girl

I'm sure there are others...but I'm too tired to think right now...

Before allowing drunken friend to cheat on his girl, you must attempt one
intervention. If he is able to get on his feet, look you in the eye, and deliver
a "F...OFF!" You are absolved of your of responsibility.
